Bienvenue au LABEF UAC

I am a dedicated researcher with a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management and a Master’s in Biostatistics, with a focus on forestry estimations. Currently completing a PhD in Biometry, I specialize in modeling tropical plant population dynamics in response to climate change and human disturbances. I bring years of experience as an independent consultant in statistical modeling and data analysis using R software.

The use of single-production function is widespread in agricultural sector for efficiency analysis since last decades. However, this approach is analytically inappropriate to accommodate the multi-input and multi-output production technology which is especially observed in the public sector, where policy makers usually face multi-dimensional decisions and budget trade-offs

Young women aspiring to high level science, she studied Agronomy at the Agricultural University of Ketou. There she graduated in Agronomy and Natural Resources Management (2013). Thereafter I pursued graduate studies in climate change and Education at The University of The Gambia (with WASCAL program). In 2015, she graduated and got a Master of Science degree in climate change and education. In 2017 she has started her post graduate studies in climate change and biodiversity at the University Felix Houphouet Boigny.

My strong desire to build a career in statistics and to become a scientific researcher led me to the Institut Tchadien de Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (ITRAD) in which im a research assistant since 2013. This desire started with a Bachelor of Technology in statistics (B.Tech. hons.) from 2007-2012 at Modibbo Adama University of Technology (Mautech), Nigeria followed by a Msc in Biostatistics at Université d’Abomey -Calavi (UAC) from 2015-2017. Today I’m glad to start a PhD in Biometry at the Université d’Abomey -Calavi (UAC)

For my Bsc thesis, I have conducted research on diagnosis of the functioning of the Direction of National Park W (DPNW), the use and management of aromatic plants, spices and dyes used by the local population for its improvement. These research activities have helped me to develop abilities on the sampling methods, data collection and data analysis for ethnobiological studies. My Master thesis which focused to the Development of best agro-ecological practices for African baobab tree Adansonia digitata L. leaves production in smallholders farming systems in Benin enabled me to determine the urgent need to find suitable strategies to promote wild oil plants for the improvement of food and nutritional security in Benin. Currently, I am PhD student and working on wild oil plants in Benin. My research is foused on ethnobotany, conservation and domestication of indigenous species, forest inventory for studying their diversity, distribution, structure and ecology.
