Bienvenue au LABEF UAC
The LABEF is structured around several research units or thematic groups that focus on specific domains ...
This programme focuses on producing highly qualified researchers in the field of experimental design and biological data analysis
The Master's in Biostatistics is an in-depth and unique program focused on recent statistical methods and their applications in the life sciences.
What About Us
Transform biological data into actionable knowledge through the strategic application of biomathematical methods in support of research, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Build a center of excellence recognized for biomathematical innovation, capable of informing public policy, supporting ecosystem managers, and sustainably improving the well-being of communities.

Your Questions, Our Answers
Calls for applications are usually launched annually (often around May-July) for the Master's Program in Statistics with a Biostatistics option. Detailed announcements are published on the 'News' and 'Opportunities' pages of the website, including links to application forms and available scholarships (such as the DAAD program)
Our research focuses on **Biomathematics** and **Forest Estimation**. This includes modeling ecological systems, analyzing forest genetic resources, forest economics, ecosystem services, and applied Biostatistics, particularly in infectious disease modeling and public health.
Yes, we regularly organize training modules for researchers and professionals. Topics include **data analysis using R software**, advanced statistical modeling (Generalized Linear Models), and seminars on environmental or public health themes.
We encourage national and international collaborations. Please contact the **Laboratory Director** or the secretariat via email (see the contact section) to submit a project proposal. We maintain active partnerships in Biometrics, Forestry, and Health-Environment fields.
