The Laboratoire de Biomathématiques et d’Estimations Forestières is pleased to announce the admission of Dr Achille E. Assogbadjo to the full professorship grade in Forestry at CAMES.
Professor Achille E. Assogbadjo is agricultural engineer and Forester. He holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences. He is senior lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences, University of Abomey-Calavi. He supervised (to July 2017) about 120 Bsc, 60 MSc and 03 PhD. He authors and co-authors more than 120 outstanding scientific publications.
Professor Achille E. Assogbadjo is member of several international and intergovernmental networks and platforms in research and science-policy nexus. He has outstanding experience and expertise on issues related to Forestry, population ecology and genetic, ethnobiology, Non Timber Forest Products (NTFPs), etc. He has been celebrated through several prizes and recognition around the world (The Ebi Kimanani Memorial Fellowship, the Heinz and Johannes Prize, The Belgian Development Cooperation, The Name in Science). He was recently featured in the African Researchers Booklets 2017.
